Have you ever laughed so hard that the air stops entering your body? You start to see stars and sound stops coming out of you but the tears are flowing? You eventually are able to regulate your breathing again, and it feels like you just tossed a hundred pounds off of your shoulders and they landed on your belly? That’s the kind of laughter I live for. If you haven’t had that kind of laughter, then I urge you to go watch something hilarious! It doesn’t even have to be on a television. Just find whatever it is that engages you so entirely in laughter that you can’t fathom anything but the hilarity of that moment, and watch it. Hopefully it is not at the expense of another person, and if it is, be discreet. Because nothing sobers up a good laugh session like a punch in the nose. Recently I did an interview with a folk-rock band out of Prince George, British Columbia called Crones. I perform with them regularly, and I can honestly say I laugh to the point of zen every practice. Check out the interview here, and be warned the content is fairly adult-oriented.
